Since the beginning of the war, children have been going to shelters in the western regions from suffering from war parts of Ukraine. These children are different ages, they are from different cities, most of them do not even know each other. Everyone is worried, scared. These shelters are becoming a temporary home for children fleeing the war. They receipt many children whose parents died from rocket fire or were killed during the occupation of their place of residence.
Their lives are crippled forever. Their psyche received the most severe disorders. And the worst thing is that many of them were left unaccompanied. In Ukraine and abroad, these children are at high risk of violence, exploitation and abuse.
Recognizing the urgency of addressing issues of social support and rehabilitation of these children, and in need of inclusive forms of care and education, providing a wide range of (medical, psychological, educational, recreational and recreational) services for children with special needs, Charitable Foundation “Good day, we are from Ukraine” with the participation of the Monastyrys`ka Сity Council, we decided to open a campus for orphans who will be able to get permanent residence, care for professional psychologists, medical care, study at a public school with all local children, and have additional conditions for sports development.
To implement this project and these goals was involved the object of unfinished construction of the outpatient department of the hospital complex, located in Monastyryska on the Sunny street. Today the readiness of the object is 65-70%. The land plot is 3.2056 hectares, on which the municipal property of the city council is located. The total internal area of the facility with the designed utilities is 3823.0 m2. Premises with a design capacity of 240 beds.
Nearby, at a distance of 100 m, there are 2 unfinished apartment buildings, which are currently privately owned and can be further offered to investors for their completion and sale or lease to employees who will work on campus.
The object of unfinished construction of the complex is located on the outskirts of the village in a recreational area near the forest and the city lake.
The city has a basic school – the Monastyryska General Secondary Education school with a project capacity of 1,170 students, which will teach children and be in the usual atmosphere of communication with peers.
There is a preschool institution – kindergarten “Fairy Tale”
In Monastyryska there are public areas for leisure and sports development of children, namely: city stadium, sports ground with artificial turf and street simulators, there are sections of football, volleyball, basketball, boxing.
Cultural services in Monastyryska are provided by the following cultural institutions:
– Monastyryska Children’s Music School;
– Monastyryska City Library, which houses the museum of Elena Kisilevskaya;
– Monastyryska Palace of Culture.
The total investment is more than 5.5 million US dollars.
Therefore, the Charitable Foundation “Good day, we are from Ukraine” appeals to various companies for help and financial support.
We ask you to help our Ukrainian children return to normal life. They lost everything – parents, friends, their future. They are scared, they do not understand what to do next, they are left alone in this life. Help, these children need attention, care both day and night. We can do it with your help.
